Professional, Experienced, and Hardworking

I am writing as one of the Republican candidates for Board of Assessment Appeals (BAA) in Old Saybrook, along with Peter Gallagher. This beautiful town is home to my children (Max and Duke) and I. We have absolutely fallen in love with everything Old Saybrook is about. From the beaches, golf course, and river and sound access to the fantastic mill rate, this is a great place to live.

With my profession as a Connecticut licensed realtor, it makes for an intuitive decision to run for BAA. I’m a licensed agent with William Raveis for the past 17 years. My profession calls on me to value and produce comparative market analyses/broker price opinions for clients. My goal with those and with hopefully the new board position is to determine a realistic and true value. Bringing light to what should be inherent parity of property values is what keeps our property taxes fair.

I’ve shared stories and good times in town with my fellow candidates. Our slate this year is a fun, professional, experienced, and hardworking bunch. First Selectman Carl Fortuna is amazing; from the way he runs the town to the way he makes everyone feel as good as he does keeps this town great. Selectman Scott Giegerich and Treasurer Bob Fish are the perfect complement to his leadership and help get everything done. I fully support them and our entire ticket including police, planning, and harbor management boards and commissions.
