What an Honor

I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the East Haven Police Department (EHPD). On Aug. 19, I had to unfortunately have funeral services for my mother. It had to be the most difficult time of my life.

My mother and I have been East Haven residents for more than 20 years. Her passing is very difficult. On that day, the East Haven police force showed up with six cruisers to escort my mother and my family through the streets of this beautiful town. What an honor.

I thank the members of the EHPD for being the people they are—truly amazing. I thank them for showing the town what an amazing woman I knew my mother to be. There’s no other like the EHPD!
