A New Level of Communications

I am looking forward to supporting first Selectman Tom Banisch for re-election this November. Tom has brought a new level of communications and transparency to the office. His twice-monthly columns in The Source are informative and helpful. I’m very pleased to see that he also established a Facebook page for the Madison first selectman. It’s up to date and he reaches out in real time addressing our concerns.

Tom has also sent out videos about pertinent local issues, like car break-ins, Academy School update,s and our Green Clean-Up Day. If you ever ask to meet with Tom, he makes himself available, either in his office or he will come to you. He knows how important it is to be transparent as he is constantly communicating to all of us on real issues.

In these super-charged political times, it’s easy to throw out accusations of lack of transparency, but it is obvious that Tom doesn’t just talk the talk—he walks the walk. I’m voting for Tom on Nov. 5.
