Aren’t Content to Wait

I might be old, but I’m not dead yet! That means I still like to get dressed and get out to meet friends and socialize, rather than to listen to the echo in my house.

Many seniors in Clinton are speaking up, letting the selectmen know that we aren’t content being asked to wait any longer for a senior center to be opened in our town. Westbrook is supposed to be the poorest town around, and it has a beautiful senior center, with pool tables, lunches, and a patio that is heated in the winter so there is no snow and ice, that makes great barbecuing in the midst of winter.

We want a senior center, and we want it now. To join us, readers can contact us at c1intonseniorcenternow@gmail.com. The point is, it’s not complicated, just do it! We don’t need to study this any longer.
