Vision, Knowledge, and Experience

I have known Tom Banisch for 13 years, and during those years he has dedicated himself to various civic organizations, including Madison Youth Football, Madison Little League, the Kate Theater, Mercy Center, Madison Rotary Club, the Madison Chamber of Commerce, and St. Margret’s Church.

Tom also served as liaison to the Bauer Park and Rockland Preserve committees, chaired two previous charter revision commissions, and was chairman of the Republican Town Committee for many years.

Since Tom has been first selectman for the past four years, he shown true leadership as Madison faces difficult state crises, making sound financial decisions and encouraging responsible fiscal operations. Tom is well educated with a B.A. from Providence College and his MBA from UConn.

As you can see, Tom has a wealth of experience within Madison. He supports our excellent school system; he supports fairness to seniors; and he is committed to improving fiscal responsibility and is very interested in growing a vibrant business climate. Tom has led the efforts into the revitalization and beautification of downtown. Everyone can agree that under Tom’s leadership, our roads have improved greatly.

Tom is a leader who exhibits vision, knowledge, and experience, all of which are reasons he is running for re-election for first selectman. He deserves to be re-elected! I plan to show my continued confidence in Tom’s leadership by casting my vote for him in November, and hope your readers will join me.
