As we get older and many of us live alone, it is important to keep up a social life. Senior citizens don’t go to bars, and a fitness club isn’t where we can easily meet people, especially for men.

If we had a senior center in Clinton with a nice pool room, I think we would attract men to come and socialize, which is good for health and wellbeing.

When will our selectmen take action and create a senior center in one of the many public buildings we all pay for? The kids have schools; we want a senior center. Those who’d like to join our group may write to
