Especially for Older People

I’ve read some other letters about the need for a senior center in Clinton, and I want to say I agree. I have wondered why we don’t have anything in our town that is especially for older people to get together.

Restaurants can be expensive and sometimes so noisy; you can’t have a conversation. Standing in the check out line and talking to someone is also not my idea of a great way to meet other seniors.

Whatever needs to be done, let’s get it done, Clinton! Let’s get behind a senior center for Clinton and feel good about ourselves. I learned about this and your readers can, too, by writing to clintonseniorcenternow@qmail.com.
