Eye on the Budget Implications

My family and I love living in Madison. This special town has been the perfect place to raise a family. Now that my wife and I are starting to plan for our retirement, I worry about if we will be able to afford to stay in our home. When I talk to First Selectman Tom Banisch, I know that he understands this.

Tom always has his eye on the long-term budget implications for our seniors and all Madison residents. It’s easy to want the best of everything for our town, but paying for it has to be equally considered. I worry that too often candidates promise so much without considering long term debt.

Tom Banisch is the town leader whose sense of fiscal responsibility is so needed at this time. I encourage your readers to join me in November voting to keep Tom as our first selectman.
