Once again, July is the month to support your local, support your library! On behalf of the Scranton Library Board of Trustees, I would like to thank the many Madison businesses who are donating a portion of sales to the Scranton Library’s Annual Fund when your readers shop or dine out and say they are supporting the library. The calendar of stores and restaurants can be found on the Scranton Library website and we hope readers will do their Christmas or Hanukkah shopping in July.

On Monday, July 29, Donahue’s Madison Beach Grille is opening up from 5 to 8 p.m. just for library supporters who wish to share a meal and dance to the music of Tuxedo Junction. Tickets for this event will be $40 per person and can be purchased on the Scranton Library website or in person at the library. Thanks to our generous sponsors (Donahue’s Madison Beach Grille, Madison Neighbors Magazine, and Tuxedo Junction), 100 percent of ticket sales will go to the library.

Beth Coyne, President
E.C. Scranton Library Board of Trustees
