A Competent Police Force

We have enjoyed living in Old Saybrook for the past seven years, and certainly a part of that is the general sense of security and well-being provided by a competent police force. Our officers are always friendly and professional.

We usually go for a morning bicycle ride and invariably pass road construction where managing officers offer friendly greetings or replies. The department’s support of the Old Saybrook Garden Club is noteworthy and its rapid response to medical emergencies and neighborhood situations is commendable.

It makes us take pride in living here. Each member of the department shares in the fine reputation of the Old Saybrook Police Department—we encourage the to be safe and keep up the meaningful work.
