Professionalism and Compassion

On Wednesday, May 22, a little after noon, my phone rang and a heavily slurred voice said “911” and “Ambulance.” I glanced at the caller ID and it was Harry Swaun, my best friend and partner of the last 13 years. He was having a massive stroke, to which he succumbed 10 days later.

I want to take this time to thank Clinton’s awesome first responders who met me at his house, as well as the person at the Command Center who took my 911 call that fateful day. Their professionalism and compassion are part of what makes Clinton a great town in which to live.
