The Spirit of Giving

June is the start of dog licensing season at the Town Clerk’s Office and I am once again reaching out to the residents of East Haven. While the citizens of our town are very good dog parents, it is at this time of the year we should remember those animals who are not fortunate enough yet to have forever homes.

In the spirit of giving, the Town Clerk’s Office, with the approval of the East Haven Animal Shelter, will be collecting donations. East Haven Animal Control Officer Owen Little suggests wet and dry cat/dog food, cat litter, soft treats, gently used bath towels, blankets, and of course monetary donations are welcome as well. Donations will be accepted starting Saturday, June 1 at the Town Clerk’s Office, 250 Main Street.
