Extreme Generosity

Thanks go to all the incredible residents of Old Saybrook and the Connecticut shoreline—and beyond. They made this year’s Shoreline Fire Department Food Drive on April 27 another great success for the Shoreline Soup Kitchens & Pantries (SSKP). The Old Saybrook Fire Department (OSFD) alone collected close to 1,400 pounds of much-needed non-perishable food during the food drive out of the 6,000-pound goal at the seven participating shoreline fire stations, and the OSFD also received cash donations of more than $700 to directly benefit SSKP.

Thanks go to volunteers Nadine “Deanie” Sabrin; OSFD support members Bob Peterson and Steve Goodstine; OSFD Chaplain Geoff Sinibaldo and his daughter Mia; OSFD members Ned Loiselle, Tony Cronin, Pat Hanley, Jack Dunn, and John Guarnaccia; OSFD Chief Joe Johnson, 1st Assistant Chief James Dion’ Lieutenant Greg Pereira’ and superstar volunteer Ray Gaudet from SSKP.
