Brave and Determined

I am writing on behalf of the Executive Committee of the North Haven Democratic Town Committee in support of the brave and determined UFCW union workers on strike at Stop & Shop. We fully support their efforts to guarantee fair wages, affordable health care, and reasonable pension plans.

We urge all North Haven residents to honor the workers’ picket line, and we are hopeful for a quick but fair resolution of all contract issues. All local workers, including those at Stop & Shop, are an integral part of our community.
