A Time of Need

Recently the East Haven Food Pantry reported its total 2018 meal distribution numbers to the East Haven Town Council and the East Haven Board of Education. The number of meals distributed was a staggering 104,910—that includes 450 families and meals for our Back Pack for Kids’ program.

The pantry runs strictly on food and monetary donations. The monetary donations are used to purchase food items that are not donated but are staples we need on our shelves. At this time, the pantry is in need of financial contributions, so we can continue to provide supplemental food to all East Haven residents in need.

I am asking the East Haven community to please consider making a monetary donation that will be used strictly for the purchase of food to fill our shelves.
