Goal, Smashed

I am writing to express my sincere appreciation to the more than 250 individuals, businesses, and friends of SARAH who supported our year-end fundraising campaign to close out 2018. Thanks to the generosity of a few incredible donors, we challenged the community with an exciting matching gift opportunity. All gifts received by Dec. 31 were matched up to $25,000 for a total goal of $50,000 in support of SARAH’s mission and programs. Not only did we reach our goal, we smashed it! At the end of the campaign, we generated more than $80,000 to help fund the important services SARAH offers. Our support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities would not be possible without the generosity of so many in our community. On behalf of the hundreds of local families we serve, we thank our supporters!

Founded in Guilford in 1957, SARAH’s primary mission is to help make independence possible while assisting individuals to live fulfilling, productive, and engaged lives within the community. Thanks to so many dedicated members of the broader shoreline region, SARAH remains a beacon of hope for families seeking support and acceptance for their loved ones.
