So Many Made Us Proud

I would like to send a heartfelt thanks to the 63 Pierson, Eliot, and Morgan school REACT members who came together to make Santa’s Workshop and Elf on the Shelf happen at the 2018 Christmas in Clinton. Sixty-three young people came out in the rain to be included in running part of our Clinton tradition. Sixty-three youth were responsible role models who followed through on their commitment to make two fun elements of the day happen.

Clinton really is fortunate to have a vast majority of strong, involved, positive young people. In a time when media often focuses on the negatives that occur with teens, let us remember the moments like Christmas in Clinton when so many made us proud.

Thanks also goes to the parents of these youth, as most were too young to drive themselves there. I thank them for allowing the children to be involved and to be a part of Clinton’s history.

It is truly my honor to have the position I do in town as the prevention coordinator and to witness these empowering moments for our kids!
