A Treasure of a Resource

I am writing because I am once again so impressed with Guilford Community Television. What a resource we have in our town! A fully equipped television studio to film in, editing software and computers to work on, and best of all, Shannon Gale and Sam Stark to help guide us through any questions or problems.

Over the last year, I have had the opportunity to film programs from course lectures to public service announcements (PSAs) at the studio. Just this week, I created and filmed a PSA letting folks know that open enrollment with Access Health will continue through Dec. 15. To be able to get the word out quickly and effectively, both on a local television station and a YouTube channel, this studio is an invaluable resource in our town. Reading from a teleprompter and working with Shannon and Sam, we were able to get the word out that now is the time to sign up for health insurance in Connecticut.

GCTV is a treasure of a resource in our town and one that I would encourage all residents to take a look at.
