Please Support Your Community News Site's COVID Coverage

The coronavirus crisis has nearly halted the local economy — including media advertising. That means local, independent news organizations such as ours must fight for our own survival while continuing to provide critical news and information as a public service during this unprecedented situation. If you believe local reporting is important and you're able to lend support during this pandemic, click here for info on making a tax-deductible donation.

On behalf of Shoreline Arts Alliance staff, guild, and the Board of Directors, we want to give our sincerest thank you for the support we received during Costumes & Cocktails on Oct. 26. The event was a great success and we are so thrilled that so many people were able to attend and have a great night. Every person who attended, sponsored, or supported the event has given Shoreline Arts Alliance the support and encouragement we needed to continue to transform lives through the arts. The work and dedication of our volunteers and community enabled us to provide opportunities for high school arts students to receive $810,000 in awards and scholarships in 2018!

Special thanks goes to the Madison Country Club for making the evening run smoothly and Judith Barbosa for her event photography. Thanks also go to The Source and Zip06 for the wonderful article about the event. We would especially like to thank Kamana, Starfish Market, and Got Attitude Vodka for the wonderful food and drinks throughout the event.

We hope attendees all had a wonderful night at Costumes & Cocktails and we hope to see everyone at our Mardi Gras Gala in February!
