Would Bring Incredible Wisdom

I will be voting for Madeleine Leveille for state representative, District 35. Madeleine is the Green Party-endorsed candidate, a party to which I have belonged to for more than 10 years, starting our in New London.

I feel that Madeleine is well-educated and compassionate. She has an analytical mind and a background in research. She cares deeply for her community and the environment and would bring incredible wisdom to this elected position.

Madeleine believes—as I do—that we must look at sustainability. This means we must protect our fiscal and environmental health. We must not just blindly vote and support what the party leaders tell us to do. The time has come where money has talked itself into a corner and we need people like Madeleine to represent us. We need folks who will sit down with the people in our communities and have conversations, seek out the problems, and discuss the solutions.

I’m proud to have Madeleine’s campaign sign on my lawn and as I’ve already said I’m voting Green for state representative.
