Warmth, Knowledge, and Commitment

I will be thrilled to cast my vote for Christine Cohen for State Senate on Nov. 6. I have had the opportunity to meet and talk with Christine on several occasions, and I am struck by her warmth, knowledge, commitment to our communities, and thoughtful approach to listening and legislating.

Thanks to her service on the Guilford Board of Education, she understands the importance of the state supporting public education, but also recognizes the need for predictability in state funding, and the impact of state mandates on municipal budgets.

As a woman, parent, and social worker, I also know that Christine will be a strong advocate for the issues that I care most about, including common-sense gun regulation, protecting reproductive rights, supporting workplace discrimination protections for pregnant women, and measures to protect survivors of domestic violence.

We are lucky to have Christine Cohen working with and for us on the shoreline, and we would be even luckier to have her representing us in Hartford.
