The Incredible Generosity

Many of your readers have discovered that Hole in the Wall, Guilford’s oldest and only non-profit consignment and resale shop, has expanded, and now offers an ever-revolving supply of furniture as well as more room for all of our clothing and housewares, plus extra dressing rooms and a separate men’s department.

Our expansion has been a big success—and a boon to shoppers—but it also brought us more furniture offerings than we could possibly accept. Since our goal has always been to serve our customers as well as Guilford ABC, we’ve been really frustrated at having to turn down so many quality furniture offerings for lack of space.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of new ABC board member Elisa Milano and her husband, Dave, owners of Milano Development and Self Storage, we have been given a large, easily accessible storage space for our overflow furniture offerings. This great gift allows us to take in more furniture and to respond to customers looking for a specific piece of furniture that we may have in storage. We are so grateful to Milano Self Storage for this wonderful in-kind gift.
