The Change We Need

John-Michael Parker is a true product of Madison: Born and raised here, he graduated from Daniel Hand, then remained close and hooked into this community while completing college at Yale. He understands what makes Madison so special and as our state representative will fight to protect it.

John-Michael has a proven track record of organizational leadership and economic savvy. He helped start one of the fastest-growing education nonprofits in the country: The Future Project, an organization that serves more than 25,000 young people across the nation by getting maximum value out of every dollar raised and spent. John-Michael is both qualified for and equipped with the tools to tackle the budget crisis in Hartford.

This young man is the epitome of the change we need to see in our legislature: full of positive energy, creative problem-solving skills, and equipped with the ability to truly listen to the needs and ideas of his friends and neighbors. A fresh face, he is not beholden to a former, ineffective way of doing things. That is why I am casting my vote for John-Michael Parker for state representative of the 101st District.

Election day is Nov. 6. Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. History has its eyes on us. Now, more than ever, it is critical to exercise our rights and responsibilities of citizenship. I implore this community to make a plan to get to the polls. Don’t let this election slip by without making our voices heard.
