Integrity and Tremendous Empathy

Peter Barrett is a fine probate judge and I am pleased to endorse him in the upcoming election. My family had the opportunity to appear before Peter in the name change of our child, Oakley. Peter was thoughtful and inquisitive, and he put us all at ease very quickly. He explained the process thoroughly to Oakley, noting that as parents we were witnesses to the process, but it was Oakley’s voice that really mattered.

Peter is obviously well versed in the law, but more important, Peter has integrity and a tremendous empathy. He delivers an ideal balance of personal connection while dispensing a disciplined administration of legal proceedings. This is the type of probate judge that we need in Madison. That is why I am voting for Peter Barrett on Nov. 6.
