Energy, Enthusiasm, and Good Ideas

I’ve been amazed at the energy and positivity shown by Christine Cohen in her State Senate campaign. At just about every event supporting the important causes in our shoreline communities, she’s been there, often with her equally giving family. This isn’t an election season ploy—Christine is a long-standing supporter of charitable causes in the community, and our local nonprofits know that her family’s business, Cohen’s Bagels, can always be counted on for support.

I believe Christine is seeking office to help us and our communities, not as a lark, but as a natural next step in a life of volunteerism and public service. She’s the right candidate for these hard times: full of new and positive ideas to bring Connecticut forward economically, without sacrificing the needs of our children and seniors. She’s a successful business owner, a busy mom who gets things done, and she knows the towns she’s seeking to represent inside and out.

Frankly, I’m tired of hearing nothing but doom and gloom. I want energy, enthusiasm, good ideas, and practicality. That’s Christine Cohen, and she’s earned my vote on Nov. 6.
