Please Support Your Community News Site's COVID Coverage

The coronavirus crisis has nearly halted the local economy — including media advertising. That means local, independent news organizations such as ours must fight for our own survival while continuing to provide critical news and information as a public service during this unprecedented situation. I will be proudly voting for Christine Cohen for State Senate on Nov. 6.

Regardless of one’s political affiliation, all Connecticut residents seem to agree that we must elect people to represent us in Hartford who have the intellect to make sound decisions about our economy. Christine Cohen not only has the necessary intellect, she also has experience and success in both the corporate business world and as a small business owner. Christine, as evidenced by her philanthropic support of various causes, has a compassionate heart, and this fuels Christine’s stamina to work hard on our behalf—everyone’s behalf.

She is the candidate endorsed by State Senator Ted Kennedy, Jr. (D-12) as she has earned his well-deserved confidence in her ability to do the job. Her maturity, desire to listen, and courage to compromise will promote bipartisanship and the effective governance our state so desperately needs.

I encourage your readers to vote for Christine Cohen on Nov. 6 and hire the most-qualified person for state senator!
