Will Continue the Fight

As a retired physician surgeon, I am all too familiar with the cost of healthcare. I have witnessed firsthand the unnecessary economic burdens placed on hard-working folks who needed a surgical procedure but had limited insurance to cover the cost. I have also known patients who have foregone the basic necessities of living in order to pay for a prescription. Senior citizens on fixed incomes are especially vulnerable to making a choice between buying a drug for a life-threatening medical condition and buying food or paying a utility bill. The United States can do better. Connecticut must do better.

That is why I will be voting for Robin Comey for state representative for the 102nd District on Nov. 6. Robin has proven experience advocating to reduce prescription costs in Hartford, and she will continue that fight when she is elected to represent Branford. As she’s a natural collaborator and consensus builder, I am confident that Robin will adopt a bipartisan approach to work with her legislative colleagues to reduce health care costs for families and seniors in Connecticut.

If your readers want a state representative who will undoubtedly and doggedly work on their behalf, then I encourage them to join me in voting for Robin Comey for state representative on Nov. 6.
