Integrity, Commitment, and Dedication

I’m delighted that State Representative Vincent Candelora (R-86) is running for re-election for Guilford. I have known Vinny for more than 20 years in both a professional and personal capacity and he has proved to be one of the hardest-working legislators in Hartford.

We are at a difficult time in politics these days and it is refreshing to see someone like Vinny reach across party lines to bring about results to some challenging issues. In fact, this past year, he was one of eight leaders who brought the legislature together and negotiated a budget that did not raise taxes and created costs savings for families and seniors.

He has served our towns with a high level of integrity, commitment, and dedication. Whether its serving on the executive board of the North Branford Little League, working in his business at Taconic Wire or the Sportsplex, serving as Boy Scout scoutmaster, or coaching all three of his children in baseball, basketball, and softball, he will always offer a listening ear and, if you have a problem, he will outline a course of action to help you solve it.

Vinny is committed to ensuring that Guilford has a voice in Hartford with strong representation. As a husband and father, he brings to the table issues that are important to our families. I encourage your readers to join me in voting to re-elect State Representative Vincent Candelora on Nov. 6!
