Brave, Determined, and Decisive

Over the past weeks, the public has had the opportunity to read about Theresa Ranciato-Viele’s professional experience as a member of the Planning & Zoning Commission, as a reservist for FEMA, and as a business owner, amongst other roles.

However, due to the current political climate, all of us need to pay close attention to the candidates’ character. I have a personal insight about Theresa’s character that I want to share with you.

I had the privilege of meeting Theresa in 2015, when I become a member of a local service organization and when, shortly after, she and her husband opened their home to me. Serving the community alongside her and living in her house allows me to witness how brave, determined, and decisive she is.

I most respect and admire Theresa’s authenticity, determination, intelligence, generosity, and dedication for good causes. She is always there for everybody who needs her (at any time of the day). Her work reaches communities outside of Connecticut and overseas. Recently, she helped me complete two community projects in my hometown in Colombia.

I am confident that her insight into our community’s problems and needs and her willingness to examine the issues and listen closely to the public’s questions and concerns make her a great candidate to represent us in Hartford.

I am an immigrant from Colombia, and I support Theresa Ranciato-Viele for state representative. I encourage all the people in North Haven, especially those like me, who identify as a minority, to do the same! We need Theresa, and she needs us. I encourage your readers to vote for her on November 6.
