Fortitude and Courage

Jason Adler’s 35th Assembly District candidacy is an encouraging demonstration of a personal commitment and inspiring example of how democracy should work. Jason is a strong, passionate, and intelligent professional, father, husband, and community member. He recognized that there is a need at the local level to get involved at a time when many of our core values seem to be jeopardized. He had the personal fortitude and courage to step into the electoral arena at this most crucial time.

I met him at a gathering back in March when he was just beginning this long and arduous process of challenging an incumbent for the 35th District, representing Killingworth, Clinton, and Westbrook. I was impressed by his earnest and honest way of communicating with and most important listening to voters in our area.

Jason’s positive attitude and electoral platform represent hope, change, and compassion in a forward-looking perspective—exactly what we need right now.

I encourage your readers to remember to vote on Nov. 6. This is a very important time to exercise our right to participate in our democracy.
