Will Bring that Balance

As a retired teacher, I know firsthand what a child needs to be properly educated: good teachers, an engaged family, and enough funding. It’s for those reasons I’m supporting Christine Cohen for state senator. When I left the Board of Education, Christine took my position and she became a strong voice for parents to the board and a vocal advocate for public education. We need someone in Hartford with this experience and expertise to fight for our kids’ futures. I know Christine will do just that.

Christine is also a successful small business woman who understands the larger picture of our state’s economy. She knows what it is like to meet a payroll and to have to cut corners in tough times. She will bring that balance to solving our state budget crisis. She will cut across party lines to help solve problems.

As a member of the board for the Women & Family Life Center, I also know that we need a strong fighter for women and families in the Connecticut Senate. Christine Cohen is that person and that is why I would urge the voters of Guilford and Madison to vote for her this November.
