Pro-Growth Philosophy

Most of your readers are aware that years of fiscal mismanagement in Hartford is having a dramatic impact on town and school budgets along the shoreline. These effects include decreased state aid to education, rising local taxes, and cut-backs in local services.

It is for this reason that I am writing to support the re-election of State Representative Vincent Candelora (R) from the 86th House District, and the election of Adam Greenberg as our new senator from the 12th State Senate District.

Representative Candelora has been an oasis of fiscal sanity for the last 12 years in the Democrat-controlled House of Representatives. With the state facing a myriad of economic challenges, his continued leadership as deputy house minority leader is now more vital than ever.

Adam Greenberg should be well known to most of your readers, as he is one of the best athletes ever to come out of the shoreline. Tragically, his major league baseball future was cut short by an injury sustained in his first game with the Chicago Cubs. Following his baseball career, Adam began a start up business in the health field that has enjoyed great success since its inception several years ago.

As our next senator, Adam will rely on his business experience along with a sorely needed pro-growth philosophy to address the looming financial crisis facing the six towns in the 12th District.

I encourage your readers to vote for Adam Greenberg and Vincent Candelora on Nov. 6.
