Priorities in the Right Place

Intelligence, experience, honesty, fairness, and kindness—these are some of the important attributes I look for in an individual running for office. Christine Cohen has proven to me that she has all these qualities and many more. Christine is a proven leader, an advocate for education, and is committed to ensuring that tax dollars are spent wisely. She shows true concern and understanding of the issues we all face today, such as affordable health care and gun safety, and she promises to address these matters. Christine has the ability and the people skills to be able to reach across political lines and find consensus solutions to today’s difficult problems.

Running for political office is a difficult task especially in today’s highly charged political environment. Christine’s campaign for the 12th State Senate District has been honest and fair; she has shown respect for all, and her enthusiasm for helping and representing others is truly infectious. Christine has garnered some difficult endorsement letters from working-class organizations. You can be sure that these organizations did their research and studied the candidates before their decisions were made public.

It has become very clear to me that Christine’s priorities are in the right place. She is a dedicated mom and a highly respected member of the community, demonstrating that she is grounded in her moral and ethical standards. I have no doubt she will carry these qualities on to Hartford.

I look forward to casting my vote on Nov. 6 for Christine Cohen, and I hope your readers will, too!
