Political Standpoints Matter

State legislators are always faced with tough choices. Providing essential services to Guilford as well as the balance of the state—at a cost that the taxpayer can bear—is a delicate balancing act most deftly performed by fiscal conservatives in the Republican Party.

It is time to give the Connecticut State Senate majority to the Republicans by electing Adam Greenberg, the most promising young candidate we’ve ever seen. Adam is a native of Guilford, Guilford High School grad, resident of Branford, successful business owner, popular author, and caring father.

When Republican Bob Stefanowski is elected governor, he’ll need a majority in the House and Senate to effect substantial change in policy. Don’t think it’s OK to vote for a Democrat just because he or she might be a friend of yours. Policies and political standpoints matter if we are to turn the tide in this state that we love.

This fall we can make a significant difference by showing our support for fiscal conservatism at its best. With Adam in the Senate, our state’s finances have a much better chance at bouncing back from the depths to which they have sunk.
