I have worked closely with Christine Cohen for three years on Guilford’s Board of Education. I can say without hesitation that Christine has approached this position with integrity, extra effort, careful consideration of all issues, and a commitment to students and to the provision of high-quality education in our community. She has been diligent in representing the concerns of parents and other community members at the board level. She has been consistently collaborative across party lines. I have no doubt that she will approach her work for the betterment of our state and the representation of our community as our state senator with the same integrity, effort, commitment, and bipartisan collaboration.
In addition, Christine’s expertise in business, as an owner of Cohen’s Bagels in Madison for 15 years and in her former position at Stanley Black & Decker, adds a critical element to the skillset she will bring to this position. She is committed to economic growth in our state and brings the knowledge and experience to help make it happen.
If your readers want strong representation in Hartford, if they are concerned about Connecticut’s economy and rising health care costs, if they want someone who will fight to maintain education funding and to protect the health and safety of our children, Christine should get their vote.
