Helping, Serving, and Representing

It has been a wonderful honor to be able to serve as North Haven’s first selectman. Over the past eight years, it has also been my distinct honor and pleasure to be able to serve and work so closely with our State Senator Len Fasano (R-34) and our State Representative Dave Yaccarino (R-87). I have been very happy to serve with these two outstanding individuals because they share the exact same values that I have in that we love helping, serving, and representing the wonderful citizens of North Haven. Additionally, the three of us have been friends for more than 25 years and that foundation of friendship and trust has perpetuated the same professional relationship in serving our fine citizens.

The importance of solid communication between the municipal chief elected official, the state senator and the state representative cannot be understated. Dave, Len, and I are in constant communication regarding state and local government.

Their efforts have been a tremendous asset to me personally and to the citizens of North Haven in terms of securing us more education dollars, getting us a number of STEAP grants to help fund a variety of community projects, and helping to secure additional grants that have benefited our streets, our roads, and our brand new middle school. Len and Dave were also very instrumental in securing for us a much-needed addition to our Town Hall to make our building ADA compliant.

I am honored to be part of the team of Len Fasano and Dave Yaccarino, and both of them have my total support to continue representing us here in North Haven.
