Well Qualified to Serve

Norm Needleman, the Democratic candidate for the 33rd State Senate District, will be an excellent state senator. His experience in both the public and private sectors makes him well qualified to serve in the Senate. As Essex first selectman, Norm has worked in a bipartisan manner to solve the problems facing a small town. That work, along with his additional experience in local government, has prepared him to work with both Democrats and Republicans at the state level to tackle difficult economic issues. Norm also will bring his perspective as a longtime business owner, having built a successful company that has provided much-needed jobs in our area.

Norm will help make our state fiscally strong while at the same time working hard to protect our most vulnerable residents, such as seniors and children. He will also work to ensure that Connecticut state law continues to protect women’s reproductive rights, which is especially important now in the face of efforts at the federal level to restrict those rights.

I’m voting for Norm because I believe he will represent our district well. I hope voters in the 33rd District reach the same conclusion and support him on Election Day.
