Outstanding and Effective

Devin Carney has been an outstanding and effective state representative for our area and I am proud to support him in his bid for re-election. Devin works incredibly hard for the 23rd District and always takes time to listen to us, the people he represents.

His priority has always been to make sure our cost-of-living and quality of life are strong. He wants small towns, like Old Saybrook, to be free from unnecessary unfunded state mandates. Devin has worked to keep state government from punishing financially healthy towns.

In addition, he actively participates in our community through his volunteer work and frequent support for many local organizations and our schools. He does this because he truly cares about our community and makes every effort to hear from everyone.

We need his leadership and dedication in Hartford and I hope your readers will vote to re-elect Devin on Nov. 6.
