Knowledgeable and Experienced

Few will argue the importance of affordable, quality health insurance. An insurance plan that doesn’t cover an illness that’s costly to treat, or raises your rates to astronomical levels, defeats the purpose of having the plan in the first place. If you haven’t experienced it directly, certainly someone close to you has had their lives shattered by a medical situation they simply could not afford to treat. I have seen firsthand the impossible decisions family and friends have had to make, and the devastation it has wrought on their finances and their lives.

As long as government is deciding what kind of health insurance we can buy and how much it costs, I want to make sure the people who influence those decisions are knowledgeable and experienced with health insurance.

Jason Adler, running for the Connecticut House of Representatives (for Clinton, Killingworth, and part of Westbrook), has had to negotiate on behalf of his family who have chronic serious health conditions. He has learned how to navigate the complex medical and insurance systems and strongly advocates on behalf of his sons.

When the matter of health insurance comes before the State Legislature, I want Jason to advocate for me, my family, and my friends. On Nov. 6, Jason Adler has my vote.
