Christine Cohen is the common-sense choice to represent District 12 in the State Senate and she has my complete support.

As the former first selectman of Branford, I know firsthand what it takes to govern: a cool head, an understanding of the facts, and a total commitment to your constituents. Christine has these qualities. She is the only candidate in the State Senate race who has the experience of elected office, serving on the Board of Education. Christine understands how government works and recognizes the value of bi-partisanship in creating effective public policy.

Not afraid to make tough decisions, Christine has gained the respect of even those who disagree with her. She is smart and understands fully the task ahead of her. Stabilizing our state economy without irresponsible budget cuts will take energy, intelligence, and integrity. Christine has what it takes to lead those discussions.
