Truly Interested in Public Service

Listening to the news when our state legislature was in session, I got sick of no action, no action, no action. It seemed like lawmakers could only reach agreements in the final hours when everyone was tired and anxious to go home. Is this what happen when people stay too long or are puppets of their political party? I think so.

I also believe many people are elected to office, and then decide their main job is to keep getting re-elected. My preference is for candidates who are not in it for their own personal gain. I vote for and support candidates who are truly interested in public service to help everyone in Connecticut have a better life.

Looking at the candidates for the Connecticut House representing Clinton, I had no trouble deciding Jason Adler is the person I am voting for. He is in his 40s, has developed an excellent reputation as a school counselor, is raising a family with his wife Meredith, and is heavily involved in working with non-profits and in good conscience, even if that means he doesn’t win re-election. He is my kind of candidate.

Jason Adler has my vote on Nov. 6.
