Respects the Taxpayer

I write to encourage your readers to support Robert Imperato for the 102nd District House of Representatives seat. I served two terms on Branford’s Representative Town Meeting (RTM) with Bob and I’ve long been impressed by his temperament, hard work, and conscientiousness.

As chairman of the RTM’s Public Services Committee and now on Branford’s Board of Finance, Bob has worked hard to meet with department heads, obtain and synthesize information, and present it in a coherent way to his colleagues. His diligence enabled others on the RTM to cast informed votes on important town matters.

Bob is collegial and willing to work with allies and opponents, but has always been determined to get the best deal for Branford’s— and soon Connecticut’s—taxpayers, all while striving to deliver the services that make Branford—and soon Connecticut—a greater place to live.

Bob will bring his brand of professionalism to the House of Representatives. He’s an innovator who understands finance; his skills will be critical in righting Connecticut’s budget. Bob respects the taxpayer and truly thinks they’ve already paid enough.

I’ll be proud to support Bob Imperato on Nov. 6 and I encourage your readers to do the same.
