Listens and Acts

When I first met Jason Adler, I thought he was a nice guy with his kind and loving wife Meredith and their two boys. They are the quintessential nice family—working hard to be there for their children while also juggling the day-to-day demands as a working family. Talking with Jason, he understood the importance of finding a balance, paying the mortgage on time, fighting for a fair and well-rounded public education system, and actual job security in this state—something I worry about, and something he listened to me and fully comprehended because it is not just important to me, but also to him and the families of our district. So yes, he is a nice guy, but he also understands how important it is keep our district and our state sustainable and balanced. I have realized there are other qualities a good public official needs other than being nice.

Saying you care or that you listened is fine, but I like proof. Jason has years and years of listening and problem solving working as a school counselor. He helps families figure out how they are going to pay for college. He helps students find colleges or trade schools that are best suited to them. In other words, he listens and he acts. That’s why I’m voting this fall for Jason Adler to become our next representative in the Connecticut House from Westbrook, Killingworth, and Clinton.

Our district needs a problem solver like Jason Adler, someone who will work to make our district viable and sustainable, someone who is capable of advocating for us in Hartford like he has done for his students. He has my vote.
