A Dedicated, Hard Working Leader

At various times and places in my life, I have served as an elected, appointed, or volunteer member of a town, city, or state board. During these experiences, I have watched and worked with members of the Connecticut House of Representatives and Senate.

I know the importance of having an involved and attentive lawmaker who is in regular and reliable contact with town officials. Jason Adler will be such a lawmaker, and is the best candidate seeking election to the District 35 House seat representing Clinton, Killingworth, and Westbrook on Nov 6.

As chair of the Board of Finance in Clinton, I never heard from the current representative in the House, Jesse MacLachlan. He has not been attentive to town needs or informed us about available resources in Hartford.

With money so tight these days, our elected officials must be actively looking out for the town’s interests. What is going on with the state-funded and repeatedly postponed renovation of the Clinton Train Station? Why hasn’t our representative, who serves on the House Transportation Committee, pushed for this project? Or kept us informed?

We need a dedicated, hard working leader from Clinton to represent Clinton in the house. We need to make sure Clinton gets the maximum funds and assistance from Hartford.

I know voting for Jason Adler assures us of such leadership. Jason has my vote, and I encourage other taxpayers to get behind Jason in November.
