Will Protect Our Citizens

I am writing in support of the election of Christine Cohen to the Connecticut State Senate. As a now-retired medical oncologist who worked for 40 years taking care of cancer patients, I am very aware of the difficulties many families face when a member requires financially draining treatment. Many families are only one diagnosis away from bankruptcy.

Christine Cohen, running to fill the seat left by retiring State Senator Ted Kennedy, Jr., will help ensure that our state legislature will protect our citizens from whatever actions our president and the current U.S. Congress enact that might endanger our access to affordable health insurance.

I encourage your readers to vote for Christine Cohen for Connecticut State Senate on Nov. 6.
