Wants to Solve Problems

I am writing in support of the candidacy of Jason Adler for Connecticut House District 35. I have been at gatherings with Jason several times and I’ve seen that he is a listener who wants to solve problems in concert with others. After unanimously winning the nomination at the Democratic Convention for State Representative for the 35th District, Jason was quoted as saying “We need to put aside the blame game of who got us into this [fiscal] mess and focus on the solutions that will get us out.”

Connecticut citizens know the importance of a strong educational system. It brings people to a state, keeps young families in a state, and attracts corporations. Jason has spent his career in public education as a counselor and advocate for both students and teachers. He knows where we are educationally and what we have to do to meet the demands of the future. He will fight for needed school funding while being mindful of the tax dollars that pay for it.

Due to family circumstances, Jason is acutely aware of another concern many face on a daily basis, affordable health care. He knows the threat of the term “preexisting conditions” and will fight to see that affordable health care is available throughout the state. Like a great educational system, affordable health care options make a state an attractive place to live.

Jason is not a career politician. He will bring to the legislature experience in a vital field that has always required working with others. Hartford needs that. I encourage your readers to vote for Jason Adler, House District 35, Line A on Nov. 6.
