Commitment to Serve

I am writing in support of Theresa Ranciato-Viele in her campaign for state representative. Theresa is a lifelong resident of North Haven. I have known her for many years, since back in our days of PTA at Green Acres Elementary School. She has served on several town organizations and committees and is currently on the Planning & Zoning Commission. What has impressed me is her commitment to serve the community at various levels.

After she lost her son, Jack, to leukemia, she initiated and organized a bone marrow registration drive, registering 400 people. This created a bone marrow donor bank to assist those needing bone marrow transplants. There were at least four people who received transplants from that one registration. She has also helped organize and volunteered at other registrations in the New Haven area. This is one example where Theresa saw a problem—a shortage of donors—and found a solution.

North Haven is ready for a change in its representation at the state level. Theresa has shown compassion and is ready and willing to take action. She has demonstrated her skill at tackling problems with positive results. She has the energy and determination to make a positive impact for the residents of North Haven.

I encourage your readers to vote for Theresa Ranciato-Viele on Nov. 6.
