An Ideal Leader

I’m voting for Democrat Jason Adler for state representative for Clinton. His qualifications and Democratic principles make him the better choice for this position. Here are some points to support my decision to vote for Jason:

He’s a husband and father who can empathize with working families in Connecticut and is a career educator who knows the costs and goals of quality education. He has personal experience with pre-existing health conditions and the essential/vital need for affordable, available health insurance.

As a school counselor, he’s a good listener and problem solver, and as a union leader, he looks for fair and balanced negotiating. His school district has never had to accept an arbitrated contract. He works with the school administration to find common ground. His life work and skill set make him an ideal leader in the search for a correction to the unfunded school and government employee pensions.

He’s a Connecticut native who went to school in Madison. He was raised with well-rounded principles by a stock broker and social worker who taught him the value of money and the importance of compassion. He has no desire to be a career politician.

He will make the tough, sometimes unpopular, decisions and vote without hesitation if it means a better Connecticut. He’ll be ready on day one!
