Not Afraid to Shake Things Up

I am supporting Christine Cohen for state senator in November. Christine is a no-nonsense, successful small business owner who is not afraid to shake things up when the need arises. She understands the state budget crisis we face and has the expertise to develop innovative ways to address it. Her concerns about regulations and business taxes come from real-life experience, and she’s ready to roll up her sleeves and fight for fiscal responsibility. She also knows that small businesses are the job generators in our state, and she’ll work hard to provide a path for them to prosper.

Christine believes we can no longer sustain business as usual, and she’ll hit the ground running. As a member of Guilford’s Board of Education, she’s fought for town governments to get a fair share of state funding. Her bipartisan approach on that board has led to numerous successful measures resulting in Guilford’s standing as one of the best school systems in the state.

We desperately need her kind of leadership in Hartford. I hope Madison voters see that, too, and elect Christine Cohen as our state senator on Nov. 6.
