Fair, Gentle, and Effective

I am a lifelong resident of North Haven and an eight-year U.S. Air Force veteran who first met Dave Yaccarino in science class at the Orchard Hill Middle School. Then and ever since he was easy to talk to and got along with everyone. Dave maintained those same characteristics as we moved on to high school.

Many of our generation got off track during the turbulent ‘70s due to the many distractions that we faced during that period. Not Dave. He was the same guy I met on the first day of middle school.

I never heard Dave yell or bully another individual. Dave has consistently remained the fair, gentle, yet effective man he has always been. He spent time in the U.S. Navy Reserve, started a business, and raised a family. I have never known a better man and am proud to call Dave my friend.

When Dave is representing North Haven in Hartford as a state representative in the 87th District, he never has to second-guess his decisions as his clarity and judgment guide him.

My friend Dave Yaccarino is one big reason why North Haven is the place where people wish to live and raise their families!
